~ Prelude to 7 years

when i first saw you...
you were 17 then, i was 19
we're not friends, we don't have common friends either.
you're my first and i was yours.

'twas the perfect time for our soul to meet.
we automatically call it "US"

you like siopao and bunwich until now.
you giggle everytime you hear Mariah singing.
you smile like a kid and clap your hands everytime you feel happy.
you alway send me notes and letters on a yellow pad.

one time, since we will not be seeing each other for the holy week.
you sent me 4 letters, one for holy wednesday, maundy thursday, good friday, and black saturday
and come easter sunday we'll hear mass together.

we always catch the first show, for our weekly movie date, while
eating potato chips dipped in sweet and sour sauce.

we share lots of things in common;
- 3 boys in the family
- middle child
- gemini (your birthday is may22, mine is may23)
- "JOHN" is our common name
- graduated at/with the same school, college, course, major

these are the things i will never forget and time i will never regret...
because these are the things that will always remind me that i'm

"one hell of a lucky bunch"

having you around and sharing these moments with.

building our dreams together and making it come true, that is what we always look forward to.
